Police investigating homicide after person found dead in car

PUSLINCH – Police have identified the person found dead inside a vehicle here last week and are investigating the death as a homicide.
Wellington County OPP officials say police responded to a "suspicious vehicle" call on Wellington Road 32, between Forestell Road and Concession 4 in Puslinch, on Sept. 21 at about 7:30am.
Initially, police stated only that "there is no threat to public safety" and on Wednesday they announced officers "located one person deceased inside the vehicle."
Four days later, on Sept. 27, police issued a press release identifying the deceased person as Trumaine Kyte, 43, of Cambridge.
"The death is being investigated as a homicide," police stated.
"Investigators believe this is an isolated incident with no indication of a broader threat."
The OPP is asking anyone who was in the area of Wellington Road 32 between 9pm on Sunday and 7:30am on Monday, "to review surveillance or dashcam footage for any suspicious vehicles or activity."
