HARRISTON – The 2023 Harriston-Minto Ambassador of the Fair Competition will feature seven competitors for the junior ambassador title and three in the senior category. The competition will be held on July 8 at the Harriston-Minto Community Centre Auditorium. 

PALMERSTON - The Palmerston Tim Hortons once again had a record Smile Cookie campaign in May, raising $14,602 for the Palmerston and District Hospital Foundation (PDHF).

HILLSBURGH – On June 21, the Let’s Get Hillsburgh Growing committee presented a $1,500 cheque to Melissa Auchincloss from Over Here to help fund upcoming projects such as the Art Ruralz Trail, a mapped app connecting local public art landmarks, and Look Over Here Selfie Stations.

PALMERSTON - The second annual Raleway Festival was held at the Palmerston Railway Heritage Museum on June 24.

ABOYNE – On June 25, over 300 people attended this year’s Teddy Bear Picnic, the second held on the front lawn of the Wellington County Museum in Aboyne.
