Women's cancer support and learning
Officials say a local cancer support group is a “welcoming environment” for women to meet others who have experienced cancer.
They can share stories, feelings and concerns about health and family. The group discusses and exchanges information on coping with medical challenges.
The meetings are held on the last Wednesday of the month from 1:30 to 3pm at the Mount Forest Family Health Team. The next meeting is on Sept. 28.
