WELLINGTON NORTH – Senior art students at Wellington Heights Secondary School wrapped up their semester with an exhibition of artwork created throughout the term.

WELLINGTON NORTH –  Wellington Heights Secondary School’s annual Warm Winter Wishes campaign surpassed its $8,000 goal, raising $9,563 for disadvantaged families in the local community.

WATERLOO – Mount Forest teen Brodie Oliver is thanking his grandmother for the inspiration after he was part of a team that won a baking competition at Conestoga College that comes with a prize of free tuition.

MOUNT FOREST – Wellington Heights Secondary School’s athletic council, along with phys-ed teachers Bridget Kosempel, Matt McFarlane and Rob Drost, organized the “Heights Showdown” on the school grounds on Oct. 3.

MOUNT FOREST – The Wellington Heights Secondary School LINK Crew students and staff have been working hard for several weeks to organize activities to help incoming Grade 9 students transition to high school, including an orientation day at the school on Aug. 28.

WELLINGTON COUNTY – As the county continues to work on its rollout of automated speed enforcement, the areas around eight schools are being added to the list of locations designated as “community safety zones.”

MOUNT FOREST – Students at Wellington Heights Secondary School rang out the school year with an engaging year-end assembly with all students and staff on June 18.

MOUNT FOREST – The Wellington Heights Secondary School Wolverine Boys Lacrosse team had a successful season this year.

ARTHUR – Wellington Heights Secondary School graduate Conner Schmidt has been rewarded for his excellence in academics, athletics and community service.

MOUNT FOREST – Students from Wellington Heights Secondary School participated in the Special Olympics Track and Field Meet in Guelph on May 15 at St. James Catholic High School.
