PUSLINCH – A Belwood driver was charged following a traffic stop in Puslinch.
On Jan. 17 at about 9pm, a Wellington County OPP officer was monitoring traffic on Wellington Road 36 in Puslinch. Police say the officer observed a vehicle that appeared to be travelling above the posted speed limit.
A 49-year-old from Belwood was charged with speeding, performing a stunt (excessive speed), driving while suspended and driving without a licence. The accused is to appear in Guelph court at a later date.
The driver’s licence was suspended for 30 days and the vehicle seized for 14 days.
