Scotland Street bridge closed over weekend
The Caldwell Bridge (Scotland Street, Wellington Road 43) in Fergus will be closed commencing on the morning of July 15 between 7 and 9am to facilitate the concrete repairs.
The bridge will remain closed over the weekend and will reopen either Monday afternoon or Tuesday morning depending on the results of the concrete tests, says Wellington County construction manager Mark Eby.
The sidewalk will remain open the entire time.
Eby stated the road will be reopened to traffic in both directions before the Fergus Truck Show.
