The Wellington Roller Derby is hosting its 5th annual Winter Wipeout Tournament on May 6 from 8am to 8pm.
Twelve teams from all over Ontario will compete for the title at the Mount Forest Sports Complex.
The teams are:
– Durham Region Roller Derby – Atom Smashers;
– Sarnia Roller Derby – Chinstraps;
– Grey Bruce Roller Derby- Highland Dames;
– Tri-City Roller Derby – Vicious Dishes;
– Peterborough Area Roller Derby – Riverside Riot Squad;
– Royal City Roller Derby – Violet Uprising;
– Royal City Roller Derby – Killer Queens;
– Hamilton Area Roller Derby – Los Conos;
– Northumberland Roller Derby – Ganaraskas Grave Diggers;
– Belleville Roller Derby – Belleville Bombshells;
– Renegade Derby Dames – Bombshell Battalion; and
– Woodstock Roller Derby – Roller Derby Misfits.
Admission is $10 and there will be a beer garden, food, raffles, silent auction, merchandise and vendors.
