Reliable Motors test drive offer is raising money for Elora lawn bowling club

Reliable Motors is bringing Ford Motor Company of Canada Ltd’s Drive 4 UR Community program to Fergus and Elora in an effort to raise funds for the Elora Rocks Lawn Bowling Club.  For every person who test-drives a Ford vehicle at the event on June 28, Reliable Motors and Ford of Canada will donate $20 to the lawn bowling club.

“We’re excited to partner with Elora Rocks Lawn Bowling Club to help raise funds for new equipment” says Greg McCabe, dealer principal at Reliable Motors. “Not only is the Drive program a chance to support extracurricular activities and give back to the community, but it allows us the opportunity to showcase Ford of Canada’s high-quality line-up and innovative safety technologies to parents, teenagers and other drivers.”

The event runs from 10am to 2pm and includes a great barbecue lunch. It will feature the Ford C-MAX, Escape, Fusion, F-150, Super Duty and other available models.

Since the start of Ford’s Drive 4 UR School and Community programs in 2010, more than 157,000 test-drives at more than 900 events have generated over $3 million in donations for high schools and organizations in Canada.

In addition to raising much-needed revenue for worthwhile causes, the program gives participants the chance to experience firsthand Ford’s exciting new vehicles and leading safety technologies.

To participate, please visit the Elora Rocks Lawn Bowling Club at 74 David St. on June 28. Participants must be 18 or older and have a valid driver’s license. There is a limit of one test-drive per household.
