Open house shows new life in former Fergus High School

Something old is becoming new again.

The old vacant Fergus High School is being converted into the new and modern Emmanuel Christian High School.

An open house was held on April 2 with many visitors coming out to tour the inside of the building.

Many wanted to see the size of the new gymnasium and were amazed at how large it was.

A number of visitors attended the school when it was a public high school and were interested to see how the inside was being transformed to change the configuration of the rooms.

There are more rooms in this new restoration, along with the large gymnasium.

An official opening in September is still the target and the school has raised about 74% of the money required for the renovations.
