Niska Road cleanup on May 29
The Niska Road community is preparing for the the third annual road cleanup.
The event is on May 29 from 1pm to 4pm with participants meeting at the corner of Niska and Ptarmigan.
The event also offers the chance to win Guelph Storm tickets and other gifts donated by local businesses.
The City of Guelph supports this initiative by supplying volunteers with safety vests, gloves and bags.
In 2015, many volunteers participated and afterward, gathered for pizza and good conversation.
Area residents are invited come out and help clean up the neighbourhood, meet your neighbours, enjoy some pizza, prizes, good conversation and fun.
Participants are asked to bring their own water bottles.
