Perth-Wellington MPP John Nater is encouraging all constituents to report instances of fraud.

“In light of the recent reports of people in Perth-Wellington being targeted through a variety of scams, I encourage all constituents to be very cautious,” said Nater.

“These perpetrators are criminals ... They may be impersonating a representative from the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), offering a business opportunity or pretending to be a loved one.”

If contacted by someone asking for money, reporting the incident by phone at 1-888-495-8501 or online at www.antifraudcentre.ca. Constituents can obtain a free copy of the government’s Little Black Book of Scams at Nater’s office at: 39 Elora Street South, Unit 1, in Harriston.
