ELORA – Hundreds of visitors attended the “soft” opening of the new addition at The Elora Centre for the Arts on Nov. 16.

ELORA – Elora Centre for the Arts’ annual Open House and Christmas Sale is set for Nov. 29 and 30 from 10am to 4pm. Admission is free.

CENTRE WELLINGTON – The Fergus Elora Rotary Club donated $250 in gift cards to the Centre Wellington Food Bank’s Angel program.

ELORA – In the face of a housing crisis, the province has determined that every municipality in the province should allow homeowners to add up to two additional residential units to their property and council decided at its Nov. 10 meeting to update its zoning bylaw amendment to allow it here.

ABOYNE – To commemorate Remembrance Day the Wellington County Museum and Archives hosted two events.

CENTRE WELLINGTON – The U15B Grand River Mustangs team was the only local team to bring home a gold medal last weekend at the Remembrance Day Classic tournament in Centre Wellington, which included 56 teams and over 900 female athletes.

ABOYNE - The next Gallery Concert Series on Nov. 23 features the Grand River Trio, who will play music of CPE Bach and J. Haydn. Venture Wind will play the second half of the performance with music arranged for a modern wind quintet.

ELORA – Two of the Elora Distilling Company’s signature liqueurs have been recognized at the 2025 Global Spirits Masters Liqueur Competition.
