ELORA – Emergency crews responded to a call for a swimmer in distress at the quarry, on Wellington Road 18, on June 24 at about 6:30pm.

ELORA – The Elora BIA’s board of management has been scrapped and senior township staff will take it over until an annual general meeting can be called and a new board elected.

HILLSBURGH – The Hillsburgh Library hosted the 2nd annual “Arts by the Pond” on June 8, from 10am to 4pm.

CENTRE WELLINGTON – The ladies of the Thursday morning Bible Study group at Central Pentecostal Church in Centre Wellington celebrated the recent visit of King Charles lll and Queen Camilla to Canada with cake and the singing of God Save the King.
