FERGUS – It was a cozy time at the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex from June 6 to 8 with a beautiful display of over 200 quilts and 50 other smaller pieces hosted by the Grand Quilt Guild.

FERGUS - Rita Anand and her husband Greg, of Fergus, were tired of looking at bare fence in their backyard.

FERGUS – Students at Bishop Macdonell Catholic High School collected almost 400 hygiene products to donate to Guelph Wellington Women in Crisis (GWWIC) this spring. 

FERGUS - The audience flashed back to the 1960s at the Fergus Grand Theatre on June 6 as Christina Leroux took the stage in Pearl: a Janis Joplin Experience.

FERGUS – The Melody Makers started off Seniors Month celebrations with an afternoon of entertainment on June 3.

FERGUS – The second annual inspection of the 492 Lorne Scots Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps, based in Fergus, was held June 2 at the Fergus sportsplex.

CENTRE WELLINGTON – Since 2010, the Elora Sculpture Project has been adding beauty and artistry to Centre Wellington. 

FERGUS – It wasn’t sunny, but it wasn’t raining. Plenty of people came out for the Sunny Days Ahead outdoor market in downtown Fergus on June 8, at the corner of St. David and St. Patrick streets.

ELORA – The second annual Craft Gin Festival was held at the Elora Centre for the Arts on June 8 and it was well-attended for an overcast day.

ELORA – Centre Wellington council agreed to a new delivery method when it awarded the contract to design and build a new operations centre to Ball Construction Ltd. on June 10.
