LGBTQ+ social groups start in Northern Wellington

Pride and Prejudice North Wellington is offering social groups to LGBTQ+ youth aged 14 to 24 this fall.

Pride and Prejudice is a social group for LGBTQ+ youth, including those who are questioning and are allies, that focuses on building leadership skills and a sense of community through art and education.

The group meets the first Wednesday of every month at 525 Dublin Street, Mount Forest.

There is no cost and pizza is provided.

The next workshop will be held Sept. 7 with the topic of understanding identity.

The Oct. 5 workshop’s topic is about “What I love about being queer”.

Both meetings are to be held 6 to 8pm

Pride and Prejudice North Wellington is led by ARCH (HIV/AIDS Resources and Communtiy Health) and supported by the Mount Forest Family Heath Team and Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health.
