Elora Community Theatre presents The Diary of Anne Frank

CENTRE WELLINGTON – The Diary of Anne Frank is one of the most famous and haunting stories to emerge from the 20th century.

The memoirs of a young Jewish girl, forced to hide for nearly two years to escape Nazi persecution, are an essential part of how we remember one of the darkest periods of our human history, Elora Community Theatre officials state.

The story of the two years that the Van-Dann and Frank families spent in the secret annex is a story of fear, boredom, bickering, hunger, and joy.

Directed by Elora Community Theatre veteran Jim Monaghan, the show will be performed at the Fergus Grand Theatre on Feb. 7, 9, 14 and 16 at various times.

On Fridays the performance will occur at 8pm, Saturdays at 2 and 8pm and Sundays at 2pm.

Tickets can be purchased online at fergusgrandtheatre.ca or by calling the box office at 510-787-1981.
