Curl for a Cause does it again

Curl For A Cause recently presented cheques totalling $46,454 to six local charities. This money was raised on Saturday March 28 at the Fergus Curling Club.  Rose McConnell and her team at Scotiabank Fergus have been major supporters for the last four years and have contributed over $15,000 through the Scotiabank Community Match Program.

The recipient charities this year, dividing the curler directed proceeds, were Big Brothers Big Sisters, The Community Resource Centre, Community Living, KidsAbility, The Door and Women In Crisis.

The Curl For A Cause Committee would like to thank all who participated in any way to this our 10th year. Were you a curler, an advertiser, a donator of silent auction items, a person who pledged monies, a person who volunteered to help make it all happen — no matter what you did to assist — It is only with your help have we been able to raise and donate over $300,000  during the last ten years.  Be proud of our collective success.
