Man posing as rideshare driver sexually assaults passenger: OPP

FERGUS – Police are looking to identify a man who sexually assaulted a passenger while posing as a rideshare driver. Wellington County OPP officials say the incident occurred on Jan. 29 at about 1:15am.

University of Waterloo Warriors forward Leah Herrfort, who grew up in Palmerston, was part of Canada’s women’s hockey team at the FISU World University Games held in Lake Placid, where Canada took the gold medal.
