911 Ride – Minto Fire hosted a lunch for about 150 Canada 911 Ride participants at the Palmerston fire station on Aug. 27. The annual ride raises funds and awareness for numerous causes including helping families of fallen emergency service personnel, helping child victims of violent crimes, as well as working in conjunction with the Mikey Network to make public defibrillators more readily available.
