Young people can get help through several Employment Ontario programs offered at Agilec in Fergus.
This Youth Job Connection program is aimed at unemployed youth 15 to 29 years old legally excused from school who need help finding employment.
Through YJC, participants get:
– at least 60 hours of paid training to prepare for the workplace
– a job for up to six months and
– mentorship, job-coaching and help with the transition from school to work
Youth Job Link helps youth 15 to 29 years old who need help planning their careers.
Agilec offers this online service with user-friendly learning modules in a variety of formats.
This program also offers a job-matching service to help connect young people with employers.
