Aberfoyle Fall Fair celebrating 180 years – and finally in person

ABERFOYLE – Last year they ran a half-day program but it just wasn’t the same.

This year, with the pandemic mostly behind us (hopefully), the Aberfoyle Fall Fair is back with all the features you know and love.

The fair runs Sept. 9 and 10 at the Puslinch Community Centre and there will be lots to keep the family busy.

This year’s slogan is “From pioneer ways to modern days,” and that kind of sums up the Aberfoyle Fall Fair in a nutshell.

It’s all about agriculture – the food, crops, animals, equipment, and people.

The fair begins Friday night with the antique tractor pull at 7pm.

Check out the Game Asylum Trailer and a new event this year: Wrestling in the Tent. This event features independent pro wrestlers with matches from 7 to 9pm.  “Come cheer on your favourite hero,” organizers say.

Admission on Friday night is $5.

Saturday holds the majority of events and all the food, crafts, preserves and such will already be judged.

The grand opening is at 9:30am and children’s games start at 9:15am.

Admission is $10 for adults; children are $5 for admission to the Bubble Zone, bouncy castle and other kids’ activities from 10am to 4pm.

Here’s the rest of the Saturday schedule:
