12th annual Hike for Hospice on June 5
Hospice Wellington’s 12th annual Hike for Hospice fundraiser is on June 5 from 9am to 2pm, at the Ignatius Jesuit Centre.
Participants can choose to participate in a 3km walk, or a 5km walk. There will also be family activities, reiki treatments and food vendors on site.
Hospice Wellington offers care to people living with a life-limiting illness, and support to individuals and families that are experiencing grief.
With close to 300 attendees, Hike for Hospice helps Hospice Wellington raise funds for the 10-bed residence and the number of community programs.
Hospice Wellington is inviting everyone to honour memories of loved ones in a caring and fun way, while helping to raise funds for the hospice.
