Wellington North Ward 3 byelection candidate found in default of Elections Act
David Culp, who ran in the Wellington North Ward 3 byelection in November, cannot be elected or appointed to office in the next election.
Council received a report on Jan. 25 explaining Culp was found in default of the Municipal Elections Act after failing to file expense documents with the clerk prior to the required date.
Until the next regular election has taken place, Culp is ineligible to be elected or appointed to office.
The notice of default was provided to Culp by registered mail.
