The annual report on remuneration and expenses for county politicians was contained in a report from treasurer Ken deHart to the county’s administration, finance and human resources committee and presented to council Feb. 25.

With combined council salaries and benefits up slightly from 2019 levels, expenses, at $43,456, down from $103,315 in 2019, accounted for the reduction in total overall remuneration.

Expenses include amounts reimbursed to officials plus amounts paid on their behalf.
