Summer blood donations urgently needed
The summer months usually show a decline in blood donations at local blood donor clinics.
This summer is no exception.
In an email, Canadian Blood Services territory manager, Sharr Cairns said an upcoming donor clinic in Drayton is at 60 per cent pre-booked with 33 open appointments.
“Summer donations typically are lower, so we are looking for the community’s support.”
The next Drayton Blood Donor Clinic will be held on July 27 from 3:30 to 7:30pm at Community Christian School, 35 High Street, Drayton.
