Speeder of the Week
MINTO – On June 29 at about 11:50pm, Wellington County OPP officers were monitoring traffic on Wellington Road 109.
Police say the officers observed a vehicle that appeared to be travelling above the posted speed limit.
A 17-year-old from Beamsville was charged with speeding and performing a stunt (excessive speed) and is to appear in Guelph court at a later date.
The driver’s licence was suspended for 30 days and the vehicle seized for 14 days.
