Public Works Director Brian Hansen has left his position at the town.

A March 23 press release from the municipality states Hansen left “to take early retirement for health reasons and/or to continue his career closer to family in the Dutton area.”

Hansen began working for the Town of Minto in November 2011. Prior to that he worked as manager of operations for the Town of Petrolia and spent 20 years in the City of London engineering department.

Mayor George Bridge stated “Brian can be proud of his accomplishments in Minto such as Palmerston inflow and infiltration, capital projects and equipment planning to name a few.”
