ARTHUR – The Arthur Legion hosted its Christmas Craft Sale on Nov. 1 at the Arthur Legion from 10am to 2pm.

MOUNT FOREST – Small business owners in downtown Mount Forest are speaking out about a rash of break-ins and vandalism in recent weeks. Five businesses were broken into between Oct. 13 and 24, and others vandalized. Police have responded by increasing patrols.

KENILWORTH – On Oct. 20 Wellington North council welcomed the Arthur Aces U9 #2 squad to its meeting to recognize the team for winning the U9 “F” gold medal at the 2025 Ontario Box Lacrosse Provincial Championships.

CLIFFORD – Clifford Rotary Celebration Square was filled with mystical creatures and unearthly decorations on Oct. 25 for Clifford’s first Halloween Harvest. 

KENILWORTH – Wellington North council welcomed Mikayla Humphrey to its Oct. 20 meeting to congratulate her on being named the Arthur Fall Fair Ambassador for 2025-26.

MOUNT FOREST – A local teenager has been charged with mischief after a vehicle and business were damaged in Mount Forest on the weekend.

MOUNT FOREST – OPP officers from Wellington County, Grey Bruce, Huron-Perth and Lambton executed search warrants on King, Queen and Foster streets in Mount Forest on Oct. 23 at 6am.

MOUNT FOREST – The Wellington Heights Secondary School Girls’ Field Hockey Team had another enjoyable season with lots of close games under the direction of coaches Shelley Bell and Justin Gibson.

NORTH WELLINGTON – On Oct. 18, the 24th Annual CKNX Health Care Heroes Radiothon broadcast on AM920, continuing its mission of support for local hospitals in mid-western Ontario.
