PALMERSTON – The Town of Minto and LaunchIt Business Exploration Centre announced the winner of the 13th annual PitchIt! Minto Business Competition: Feel Alive Home Junction, founded by Palmerston’s own Jennifer Ferreira-Rudinac.

PALMERSTON – After several years of lobbying, hard work and a fundraising campaign that raised over $8 million, the new MRI machine has finally arrived at Palmerston and District Hospital.

MINTO – Bob Emmerson has been recognized by the Town of Minto as Senior of the Year for his outstanding contributions, after the age of 65, that strengthened and protected communities. 

PALMERSTON – On June 21, the All Aboard Palmerston Raleway Festival hosted local breweries, distilleries, food and live music for guests to enjoy. 

MINTO – Council here has formally adopted its 2025 asset management plan, which calls for annual capital tax levy increases of 3% over 20 years to ensure town infrastructure remains in good condition.

CLIFFORD – Clifford Rotary supported the Clifford Food Bank with a recent donation of $1,200 to help feed local families in need.

PALMERSTON – From June 2 to 5, Norwell District Secondary School LRC 10 students travelled to Ottawa to compete in the Special Olympics Provincial Championships for soccer.

CLIFFORD – The Clifford Rotary Club donated $800 to Rotary Hand Up, an association of Rotary Clubs in District 6330 formed around 30 years ago with the goal of providing international humanitarian aid through global and district grants.

CLIFFORD – The Clifford Carnival is almost here and officials say it’s going to be the biggest summer celebration yet. 

PALMERSTON – The Norwell District Secondary School commencement ceremony for the graduating class of 2025 was held at the school on June 13.
