BRUCEDALE – By the end of September, drivers on two Guelph/Eramosa roads can expect to encounter speed humps.

ERIN – East Wellington Community Services has a new bus, thanks in part to a $148,600 Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) grant though the provincial government.

BRUCEDALE – Guelph/Eramosa Township will soon have its own tractor. Township public works director Harry Niemi appeared at the Aug. 12 council meeting to ask for approval to purchase a tractor in order to do more roadside mowing.

GUELPH/ERAMOSA – On July 25, East Wellington Community Services (EWCS) held its 21st annual charity golf tournament at Guelph Lakes Golf and Country Club.

ROCKWOOD – The Rockwood Football Club girls 2008 team was crowned champions of the AC Douglas Tournament in Niagara Falls last weekend.

ROCKWOOD – The Grove Youth Wellness Hub currently has sites in Erin, Fergus, Guelph and Palmerston. And soon there will be a "sub-hub" in Rockwood.

GUELPH/ERAMOSA – A 29-year-old driver from Listowel is facing life-threatening injuries after a car crash here on Aug. 8.

MARDEN – The annual Ontario Pirate Festival took place at Marden Park in Guelph/Eramosa throughout the Civic Holiday long weekend. 

ROCKWOOD – Rockwood’s annual Party in the Park filled Rockmosa Park with celebration on Aug. 1, with tons of activities for community members and visitors to enjoy.
