FERGUS – The Fergus Highland Rugby Club’s U18 girls team struck gold during the club’s celebration of women and girls in a match against North Halton on June 25.

CENTRE WELLINGTON – Now that summer is coming along and plants are growing rapidly, Wicked Welly Farm and Apiary had its annual farm tour on June 14.

FERGUS – BT Corner, at the corner of Bridge and Queen streets in Fergus, is getting a facelift thanks to a donation from Bert and Marilyn Peel and commitment from the Fergus and District Horticultural Society.

CENTRE WELLINGTON – Township staff, councillors and the mayor himself are coming to terms with a new budget process now that Mayor Shawn Watters has been granted strong mayor powers by the province.

FERGUS – Kristy Miller, founder and owner of The Scented Market, feels this could mark the start of something new for her business.
