Live Free Day celebration breakfast held at Elora Public School

Elora Public School celebrated Live Free Day on March 1 with pancakes.

The Children’s Foundation of Guelph and Wellington’s Food and Friends program helps kids live free from hunger.

Approximately 600 students and their families, staff and community guests attended the event, which was sponsored by Ontario Student Nutrition Services.

The Live Free campaign is an annual fundraising event that takes place in schools across Dufferin, Wellington and Guelph. Every dollar raised by the Live Free campaign supports students through the Children’s Foundation’s Food and Friends’ 107 student nutrition programs, feeding over 15,000 local students in local communities.

The funds raised during this campaign help children and youth to have a better start to their day of learning. Visit livefreewgd.ca/do nate to donate to the school of one’s choice.

“Help bring healthy food to hungry minds,” officials urge.
