Inverhaugh Cricket Club downsizes 2017 schedule

After 21 years as a vibrant cricket club with weekly matches throughout the summer,  Inverhaugh Cricket Club is downsizing for the 2017 season.

Matches will be played only on the three long weekends of the summer,  highlighted by matches against the Stratford  and Shaw Festival teams on the Mondays.

In addition, social matches will be held on the Saturdays of those weekends with Inverhaugh Cricket Club members and invited guests.

For the rest of the season, the ground may be available for private functions and special cricket matches on request. For those interested, or for further information contact Bart Singh at 519-846-0450 or bart@bjpartners.ca. or go to  Inverhaugh.com.

The house and grounds remain for sale and the cricket ground will continue to be maintained to the high standard tow which players and visitors have become accustomed, officials state.

Bart Singh, co-owner, captain and chief cricket curator stated, “We will miss the weekly matches and the camaraderie amongst the members and local teams.

“We will also miss those special matches against overseas teams. Over the years, we have hosted teams from Australia, Bermuda, Dominica, Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago.

“We have also hosted a couple of International matches featuring Canada, the U.S. and East and Central Africa.
