Guelph residents win $50,000 prizes in lottery draws

GUELPH – Susan Bennett just won $50,000 with Instant Bingo.

The 73-year-old Guelph woman played her ticket at home and decided to double check her numbers using the OLG Lottery App.

“It said big winner – I was numb. It still doesn’t feel real,” she said as she picked up her cheque at the OLG prize centre in Toronto.

Susan Bennett plans on buying a pinky ring, among other things.

Susan plans to take a moment before deciding on her next steps, but will likely invest some of her winnings.

“To celebrate, I am going to buy myself a pinky ring so I can always remember this moment and extend my luck!” she said.

The winning ticket was purchased at Shoppers Drug Mart on Silvercreek Parkway in Guelph.
