There were 66 units of blood collected at the March 28 donor clinic in Drayton, exceeding the expected target of 58.

The next clinic in Drayton is scheduled for Victoria Day, May 23 at Community Christian School from 3:30 to 7:30pm.

“While we take a break to enjoy all that a long weekend has to offer, the need for blood doesn’t take a break. We do hope you’ll consider coming out to save a life that day,” states Sharr Cairns of Canadian Blood Services.

Minto Fire will be on hand at an upcoming Palmerston blood donor clinic  to share fire safety information and encourage members of the community to consider donating blood. The clinic will be held at the Palmerston Community Centre on  April 14 from 5 to 8pm.
