Erin Poultry 4-H Club

I showed up at my 4-H meeting last week only to find four very noisy bantam chickens at the front of the room.
This was an exciting start to our Erin Poultry 4-H club. At the meeting, we learned how to take care of chicks and raise them to become healthy hens. We also learned how the chick develops inside the egg over 21 days. This is all important because we are all getting ready to get four baby chicks to raise ourselves!
We watched some videos about how to set up a chick brooder and now have lots of ideas to help us get ready  in the next couple of weeks. Our leaders are June and Craig Switzer and Leslie and Ian Cook. Club executives are: president Brandon Bartlett, vice president Abigail Morton, and secretary Kayla Gordon.
