County to open three waste facilities to handle flood-damaged items
Wellington County will open three waste facilities on Monday for residents to drop off flood-damaged materials.
The following facilities will be open from 8m to 6pm:
- Riverstown, located at 7254 Sideroad 5W, Kenilworth, in Wellington North;
- Harriston, at 5668 Highway 23 in Minto; and
- Rothsay, at 8495 Wellington Road 7 in Mapleton.
"These sites will be open to accept flood damaged materials only," officials stated in a press release.
"Please do not bring any other household garbage or recycling on Monday. Please note that regular waste fees will apply. Receipts will be given to all customers."
