Catholic board announces calendar
The Ministry of Education has approved the school year calendars for the 2017-18 school year for elementary and secondary schools in the Wellington Catholic District School Board.
Both calendars have 194 school days, including seven professional activity days.
Ten instructional days have been scheduled for secondary exams.
Students will start the school year on Sept. 5.
The last day of school will be June 28, 2018 for elementary students and June 27, 2018 for secondary students.
The Christmas break will be from Dec. 25 to Jan. 5. March Break will be from March 12 to 16.
The Upper Grand District School Board submitted a similar calendar to the ministry for approval.
The approved calendar is posted on the board website.
