COVID-19 vaccine for young children to arrive in WDGPH region this week

WELLINGTON COUNTY – The Moderna COVID-19 vaccine for children aged six months to five years will be administered by primary care providers and in select pharmacies.

GUELPH – Public health officials have identified the first case of monkeypox in the region, but stress there is no increased risk to the general public.

Second case of monkeypox confirmed in Wellington County

WELLINGTON COUNTY – Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health has confirmed a second case of monkeypox in a county man between 50 and 60 years old, following a positive lab result, bringing the total number of monkeypox cases in the health unit's region to three.
