WELLINGTON COUNTY - Bill C-234 was aimed at carving out exemptions to carbon tax charged on propane and natural gas used by farmers to dry grain and heat/cool buildings, but farmers will have to wait even longer to see what comes of it following changes to the bill in the Red Chamber.

MINTO – Council here is considering a request to allow gun hunting on Sundays within the municipality. A delegation of area residents appeared at the Feb. 20 meeting to request council pass a resolution to implement the change.
