WELLINGTON COUNTY  — July 13 marked the beginning of the Summer Concert Series at the Wellington County Museum and Archives’ heritage barn in Fergus.

WELLINGTON COUNTY  — On Aug. 27 from 1 to 4pm, the Wellington County Museum will be hosting its 47th annual Antique and Classic Car Show. 

MINTO – Minto council discussed the new location for the Palmerston Food Bank at its meeting on July 11.

ELORA — Noah Barron placed first at the provincial level in this year’s Young Authors Awards.

FERGUS – Luke Sandink has been collecting old farm tools and household items for about 45 years. 

MOUNT FOREST – When his delivery wagon broke due to a lot of hard work, Wellington Advertiser carrier Owen Wagner was surprised by a customer who gifted him a handmade replacement.

CLIFFORD - On June 30 and July 1 the Great Lakes Truck Show filled the Clifford Rotary Park with big rigs and classic vehicles from various eras.

FERGUS – Blake Willard and Riley Woods, two 15-year-old Fergus youths, were selected to attend this year’s Adrln (Adrenaline) Platinum Cup tournament with Ontario’s Evolve Elite Lacrosse team.

ELROA — Erin Sinclair and David Oates were selling several baked goods and beverages at the Geddes Street Market flea and thrift event. Below, the market was a busy spot for the July 2 event.
