Re: Driven to Deliver. Thank you Chris Daponte for writing the Friday March 7th editorial, you have delivered a great message! You brought tears to my eyes and a warmth to my heart, to have someone understand and reflect to our customers our delivery issues was astounding me. My name is Suzane Britton and I am a very proud Rural Route carrier for the Wellington Advertiser, even more so having read your article! I am one of the people you mentioned that takes two full days to deliver to my thousands of dedicated rural customers. If I encounter inclimate weather I’m on the road even more days. You have highlighted on what we delivery drivers have had to endure this winter. I can tell you like many of my colleagues will agree this is the worst winter in recent memory, and the most challenging since I’ve been delivering for the Wellington Advertiser. Thank you again Chris, and thank you to our amazing customers for their patience during our “bad” delivery days. Hopefully Spring is around the corner!
