Speeder of the Week
GUELPH – On Oct. 10 at about 6:15pm, OPP officers were monitoring traffic on the Hanlon Expressway.
Police say the officer observed a vehicle that appeared to be travelling above the posted speed limit.
A 30-year-old from Burlington was charged with speeding, performing a stunt (excessive speed) and driving without a valid permit. The accused is to appear in Guelph court at a later date.
The driver’s licence was suspended for 30 days and the vehicle seized for 14 days.
