ERIN – The Rotary Club of Erin is once again inviting the community to join in on one of its most popular annual fundraisers, Wine Survivor 2025, where participants have the chance to win up to 60 bottles of wine while supporting a great local cause.
This lighthearted elimination-style lottery combines friendly competition with community spirit.
Each ticket purchased enters into a series of draws, with participants gradually being “voted off the island” until one lucky survivor takes home the grand prize of 60 bottles of wine.
Along the way, there are plenty of opportunities to win, from Early Bird and consolation draws to prizes for the top ten finalists.
Prizes include:
– first place, 60 bottles;
– second, 48 bottles;
– third, 24 bottles;
– fourth, 12 bottles;
– fifth, six bottles;
– six, five bottles;
– seventh, four bottles;
– eighth, three bottles;
– ninth, two bottles; and
– tenth, one bottle.
In addition, the first ticket drawn on each night of the elimination draws will receive a consolation bottle of wine.
Proceeds from this year’s event will support the Erin Food Bank, helping families in need during the holiday season.
“Wine Survivor is a fun way to get people involved while giving back to our community,” say club officials. “Every ticket helps make a difference.”
The Early Bird Draw takes place on Nov. 10, offering one participant the chance to win a 2019 Cabernet Blend from Dobbin Estate Winery, valued at $80.
The main elimination draws begin on Nov. 24, with the final draw on Dec. 5.
Tickets are $40 each or 3 for $100, and only 400 spots are available.
Participants must be 19 years of age or older and residents of Ontario.
