Died peacefully at Hamilton General Hospital on Saturday, November 8, 2025. Harvey W. Martin of R.R. #2 Mount Forest at the age of 71 years. Husband of Elmeda (Bowman) Martin. Father of Nancy and Lena Martin of R.R. #2 Mount Forest, Joseph Martin and Miriam Martin of R.R. #3 Conn, Anna Martin of R.R. #6 Mount Forest, Bertha and Brian Martin of R.R. #2 Mount Forest, James, Aaron, Sarah, and Mary Martin all at home. Survived by four grandchildren. Brother of Salome and Nelson Wideman of Third Line, Elmira, Valina and Oscar Martin of R.R. #1 Elmira, brother-in-law of Mrs. Erla Martin of R.R.#2 Mount Forest, Minerva and Melvin Martin of R.R. #1 Mount Forest and Rebecca and Cleason Wideman of R.R. #1 St. Jacobs. Predeceased by a son Jason, in infancy, his parents Ammon and Lydia Martin and three brothers; Amsey, Peter, and Ivan Martin. Visitation was held at the home of Harvey and Elmeda Martin, 084489 Southgate Road 08, R.R. #2 Mount Forest on Sunday, November 9, 2025 from 4:00 – 7:00pm, and Monday from 10:00 – 12:00 and 2:00 – 5:00pm. A funeral service was held at the home of Harvey and Elmeda Martin on Tuesday, November 11th at 9:00am, then to Riverdale Mennonite Meetinghouse, 571316 Southgate Side Road 57 for burial and public service.
