Women’s liberation to be discussed at Guelph Historical Society talk on Feb. 4

GUELPH – The Voices Behind Change: Women’s Liberation in the 1970s will be taking place at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church on Feb. 4. at 7:30pm.

Hosted by the Guelph Historical Society as part of its Evening with History program, the event will see  as the guest speaker Amy McBride.

Her talk will focus on women at the University of Guelph in the 1970s and how they took part in the women’s liberation movement.

Her primary source will be The Ontarion, the campus student newspaper.
