West Luther 4-H Beef Club has started

Charlie Twiss has started 4-H up again on April 19.

Twiss hosted the organization meeting at the Alma Optimist Hall where the beef club voted for their club Justin Swanston as president, Alycia Walker as vice-president, Kayla Scott as secretary, Jack VanMilligen and Colin Ormiston as photographers, and Avery Talbot, Lauren Irvine and Katie Gorman as press reporters.  

Charlie Twiss, Heather Hargrave, Danielle Lennox, Aaron Hicks, Jason and Andrea Hurst and Taylor Black will be leading the West Luther 4H Beef Club this year. The first and second year members will be making scrapbooks. The project third year members and up will be announced at the next meeting

All members will be working on static display boards showing the life cycle of an assigned crop/food.

4-H members will be attending judging meetings and showing your calf at Arthur Fall Fair.

They also explained how to be a proper 4-H Member.  The next meeting will be on May 3 at Jim Lindsay’s Farm, 6235 Guelph Street, Fergus.
