Wellington County Learning Centre offers new program this summer

ARTHUR – The Wellington County Learning Centre is offering a new program this August for students going into Grades 6, 7 or 8 in September.

SOAR, Some Assembly Required is a unique program that explores learning disabilities and/or ADHD and understanding them in order to overcome obstacles and succeed academically.

The program looks to  understand unique learning styles and how people learn.

SOAR, Some Assembly Required will assist in creating organized spaces at school, promoting self-advocacy, building self-esteem, assessing how to stay on top of assignments and daily work and tools to prioritize tasks.
