Volunteers invited for tree planting Saturday at Barbour Field
Volunteers are invited to help with planting of 150 trees this Saturday at Barbour Field in Hillsburgh.
The event is part of TD Tree Day, a program that has seen more than 300,000 native trees and shrubs planted in communities throughout North America since 2010.
Participating high school students can be credited with volunteer hours.
The planting will happen Sept. 22 from 9am to noon at 5808 Eighth Line, rain or shine.
