Trees take centre stage during Neighbourwoods Tree Walk

GUELPH – Another tree walk hosted by Neighbourwoods is planned in Guelph’s Riverside Park.

Arborist Todd Irvine will guide attendees through many magnificent heritage trees in the historic park.

Irvine is the founder of City Forest (cityforest.ca), a company dedicated to increasing the understanding, appreciation and stewardship of trees and the natural environment.

Irvine is also co-founder of the urban issues magazine Spacing.

People who attended Neighbourwoods’ 2022 Winter Tree Walk will recall what a resourceful and knowledgeable educator Irvine is, organizers state.

This tree walk is Oct. 14 from 1 to 3pm.

Enter the park through the main entrance, on the east side of Woolwich Street, south of Woodlawn Road and park in the area between the enabling garden and the carousel.
